Hi,

My friend is fostering this kitty. She can't foster for long as her cat doesn't get along with Dahu. I visited Dahu and she's a very sweet girl. Due to her age, we think it's very hard for her to get adopted.  We want to have her posted widely so more people can see it. Her story can be found on this post:

Meow-llo, my name is Dahu, I used to have a happy home but not anymore.  My human daddy was never a fan of me and recently it got worse.  He threw my sister (oh yes, I have a younger sister who’s with another foster family) and I out of the door a couple weeks ago.  We've lived indoor all our lives, we have no survival skills in the outdoor world.  Therefore we didn't go far, we hoped that someone from the house would take us home, but that hope was getting smaller each day.  My human mama recently had a baby; she has a full-time job and full responsibility for the baby (daddy didn't seem to care much about the baby).  She finally came to rescue us after neighbor auntie spotted us shivering under bushes after 10 days.  And yet, we got kicked out of the house by daddy for the second time.  Two foster parents heard our story and took us to their home.  It was kind of them, but I still want a forever home. I’m a senior in this increasingly competitive adopting world, but I have a heart of a kitty and I’m 100% healthy. I still love human parents and kids regardless of the bad experience.  I don’t mind sharing your love with another cat or dog.  And plus, I clean myself from head to toe every time when I step into the bedroom and I cover my litter so well that you don’t see anything on the surface.  Please contact me I mean my foster parent if you still have space in your heart and home.  Meow luv you~

13thstcats.org is a 501(c)(3) Non-Profit, No-Kill Rescue Group based in San Jose.

We try our best to match our cats to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a first come, first serve basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular cat
