|
Owen was rescued from the San Jose Shelter after he was dumped there by a trapping company. He was not a feral cat at all, but someone did not want him around his community. Luckily for him a Safe Haven Volunteer brought him home and saved his life.
Owen is a very affectionate and sweet cat who deserves a committed forever home. He will snuggle up and sleep with you on the bed all night. He purrs easily and loves to be brushed and petted. Even though he is not a kitten anymore he absolutely loves to play! He keeps up with the foster kittens, and can jump really high for wand toys and the laser pointer.
He would be perfect for someone who has a mellow home setting without young children. While he loves attention, he could still be left alone during the day while you work. He loves other cats too, and loves to snuggle and sleep with them. So if you have an existing cat or kitten he will most surely get along with them.
Owen can be adopted to a safe indoor/outdoor home, as he really misses his time outside. He loves to escape, and then he comes right back. A home safety check will be required to ensure that Owen will be in a good place where he can live a long life.
