About Peyton | |
|
|
Peyton has one of the glossiest coats you will ever see on a black cat. His fur is so soft and sleek, and very thick for a short haired cat. He eats a high protein no grain diet, so that is partially responsible for his beautiful coat.
He loves to wrestle with his full grown foster sister cat for as long as she'll take it. His favorite toys are pretty much the same as his brothers- the trackball, laser pointer, and wand toys. But he particularly likes the wand toys with catnip in them. Peytie is a social butterfly and will play with any cat or kitten that enters the home. Peyton is the only cat his foster mother has ever had who can play fetch. He will have you toss his toy over and over until he gets bored :-)
He has a super sweet side under the bundle of energy exterior. When his foster mother's alarm clock goes off he runs over to greet her. He rubs his face against her cheeks and cuddles up. He purrs very loud while getting his pets and cuddle time. Peyton's father is a Maine Coon, and although Peyton does not look like a Maine Coon, he does have one of the breed's unique qualities. He often chirps to the other kitties as opposed to the typical meow.
Peyton would like to be adopted with his brother as they are bonded. But he can also go to a home with another cat to keep him company. He gets along great with other cats, and is often found grooming the baby foster kittens. In fact he has greeted every foster kitten, even the older kittens, with a friendly grooming session. He could be adopted as a solo cat, if his adopter worked from home or was retired. He is such a social cat, and wouldn't like be left alone all day.
Peyton would not do well in a home with younger children. He hides when he hears their voices, and he plays too rough for them. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, de-wormed, and flea treated.
