Katnipp is a Red Mackeral Orange Tabby, (very vibrant stripes).  He has very silky short hair, and weighs 12 lbs.

He has had a nomadic life and is looking for a forever home with a nice yard, and calm people to nurture his sweet nature.

Due to his indoor /outdoor lifestyle. He uses a litter box does his potty outdoors.  He is neutered, vaccinate and healthy.  

His favorite thing is to be outdoors in the yard, hunting gophers with my husband, or else bird-watching and exploring.  We leave our sliding door open for him, so he can come and go as he pleases- OUTDOORS during the day, INDOORS at night, sleeping/watching TV.  Loves his cat bed, but does not like to cuddle in your lap, although LOVES being petted and massaged, & even picked up for a short time.  

He is easily frightened & terrified by loud noises, sudden movements, and approaching from behind.  NO to kids & dogs, not sure about other cats. I guess original owner had another cat, & I sense he might be lonely for it.  


I feel he has some special needs.  He should NOT be confined to an apt. or left alone all day, and must have a sizable yard to roam in.  He is really a sweet, sweet kitty, & loves to play with his catnip mouses, ping pong balls, etc.  Most of all, he needs unconditional love
